Author's Notes: Written as an anniversary gift for my Daddy.
The "incident" was inspired by an actual event, as the resturant in the story is based directly on my local Chinese resturant. My sister really did bet me I couldn't empty my cup completely before our waitress could re-fill it. It didn't actually end in my having an accident, but that's what we call artistic license.
Daddy and I had been talking about cribs around the time I was writing this story, which led to us looking up how big cribs normally are, which led, in turn, to figuring out I could fit in quite a few of them fairly comfortably. So, that's why there's such a focus on cribs in this part of the story.
The book is actually part of a bigger plot that will, slowly, begin to unfold in later stories.
