Author's Notes: I wanted to do a Buffy type story. What more can I say? Probably the episode that inspired this the most is The Zeppo, which is, incidentally, one of my favorite Buffy episodes, other than The Body. And The Gift. And Once More With Feeling. And Hush. And Restless. And about a hundred others.
Chyna's whole adventure was inspired by an old science fiction story, called "With Folded Hands", by Jack Williamson. The reason all of the characters have somewhat odd names is a reference to all of Joss Whedon's television shows. The very end of the story is also probably a direct reference to the ending of an episode of Buffy, but I'm not sure which one now.
