Author's Notes: Like a lot of my earlier stories, and quite a few of my newer ones, too, I guess, this is a story that is mostly about the nature of diaper stories. I hadn't yet quite figured out how to do that sort of thing without literally making it about a diaper story at that point.

It was also one of my first "twist" endings, and not a particularly great one at that. Really, by itself this story isn't anything special, but it works as a companion to the much better second story. And it was worth writing just because Mel is, basically, a prototype for Penni. Luckily, Penni daydreams about much more interesting things.

I'm sure you could care less lol, but I just had to say that when you were describing Mel's social situation, that is exactly how I felt growing up until I hit about 15 and started to open up and this is the first time I've seen it written down the same as it was in my head.
