For any discussion of the story.
Author's Notes: I came up with the core idea for this a while back and wrote it down with all of my other basic ideas. Then it was just about two girls, probably, but not necessarily, sisters, but when I looked through my notes, I thought that maybe I could make them twins. The story took off from there, helped by the fact that Easter was a day or two away, and I figured I could easily set the story then.
I was expecting the story to be quite a bit shorter, though I never realistically thought I would have all of it done by Easter. I did finish the first chapter by then (I finished the story a little over two weeks after Easter), though. It seemed to take a life of its own, the little moments that I was expecting to be fairly short sometimes requiring whole chapters, practically.
But, all in all, late or not, I think that it worked out quite well, doing what I intended for it to. I may do a sequel someday, now that everything is all set up, but I wouldn't hold my breath for it, if I were you.
Spoiler:
If anyone is curious, you can tell which of the twins is being featured in the middle section of each chapter by which of their sections the repeated action in the middle section is closest to.

Wow, I read this story yesterday on the other board, and even though I shouldn't have stayed up so long I just couldn't leave my pc before finishing it
Spoiler:
I loved the mid-sections. At first I was a bit confused (Maybe because I'm not a native speaker), but after reading half of the story I considered the possibility of both sisters being featured in the midsections a bit, although I wasn't really convinced about it .
It's a bit sad that stories like this tend to have a not 100% happy ending, but on the other hand the feeling you get after reading it is very interesting and nice, too. (I caught myself thinking about this story on my way to work and some time later )
I mistakenly voted on another easter story (The rites of spring) on this board (which I have not yet read) because I thought it was this one and I got confused with all my firefox tabs. I'm sorry for that But seriously, from all the stories I have read in the past few years (which tend to be quite a lot considering my then-activity on TBN and my lurking on abdlstoryboard ), this one has caught me like no other.
