For any comments about the story.
Author's Notes: This is one of the stories that I'm most proud of. Not necessarily for how it turned out, though I am happy with that, but largely for the fact that I managed to write the whole thing (all 220+ pages) in about a month. A lot of that probably had to do with it being the first story I went into with a massively detailed outline that evolved to the point where, maybe a third of the way in, I knew exactly how many chapters long it was going to be. After the first couple chapters, I put out at least one chapter a day, and, after starting that, I'm proud to say that I didn't miss a single update.
To be a bit of a drama queen, this story almost won the 2005 Story of the Year award on the AB/DL Story Forum, except that the person who did win voted for their own story, which gave them enough points to beat me. Not that I'm bitter or anything...
The following were all drawn by Remmy.
This was the first sketch done, or at least the first I was shown, mostly to get hair and clothing figured out for Penni. She looks a little older than she actually is, but, nevertheless, I think it captures Penni quite well.
This is a later sketch of Penni.
And this is a sketch of Nadine. Other than reversing hair lengths on the girls, I liked them both quite a bit ^-^ Maybe someday there'll be a more complete version, but Remmy has quite a lot of stuff to draw, so I'm just happy for what I got ^-^
