For any comments on the story.
Author's Notes: Up until I wrote this story, and for most of my stories afterwards, most of my characters were only children, or they had just an older sister. I didn't really want to write a story from the perspective of the older sister, but I wanted to do something different nonetheless, so I decided to write about a middle sister.
I had written Danger of Hypnotic Suggestion on Little Sisters not long before this story, and I found that it was pretty fun to write in present tense, which is why the end of this story switches to that. The incident which sparks the change is based on real life, and probably the main reason I don't play softball, other than the fact that I just wasn't that good at it anyway.
Yes, Aeris is meant as a Final Fantasy reference, mostly just because I liked the name (but only spelled like that... Aerith just looks silly to me). Therefore, Cid the penguin is also a FF reference.
